I just got a new set of irons -new to me. They are 6-year-old Callaways and I love them! Got them from Callaway pre-owned which gave me a good price for my older irons on my trade-ins! Club manufactuers are under marketing pressure to introduce new irons/metal woods every couple years. But are they really THAT much better?

I must say I have happily played both Trufeel and Tour Soft. Interesting to see how high Trufeel goes though.

Please do this with the Srixon range. I’d love to see how 333’s hold up to the more expensive balls.

In my opinion , mid to high handicap should play all the four balls other than the prov until ur consistently hitting it🤷‍♂️

Good review. I've been using the 2002 model True Feel and like it a lot. I'm a bogey golfer with about 90 mph driver speed. I get long straight distance, good feel off the clubs, especially the putter and it rolls true. They were on sale for 20 dollars US, a great value.

I loved the Tour Spin they had when the Pro V first came out that replaced the HP Tour ball. I haven't had a chance to try the Tour Soft yet but it's interesting to see how the True Feel stacked up. Never been a fan of the Pro V. I don't have the swing speed for it so I'm just wasting my money on it.

Why do Titleist just change the name of balls and call them game changers? NXT best ball ever made by Titleist that I prefer over the early pro v1 then they disappeared without any notice to be replaced by who knows what model

Interesting. Good to know the Trufeel, the cheapest, is already a decent ball. I like the TourSoft but find it a bit expensive for a 2 piece ionomer cover ball.

The average 11+ handicapper should just buy used balls if you lose even 1 balls per round

Avx definitely longer with driver for me Doesn't feel as good on short game though.

I've just bought 3 Ping 159 wedges, quite a bit cheaper than RRP. Ping fitter came to club so was able to have a face to face fitting. It has taken me a little time to get used to them, as they feel diff to my old wedges, but the stopping power is terrific and control good, so very happy.

Excellent review...but, wow, the S159s are pricey. I need to replace my Cleveland CBX2 Gap and SW. I'll put these on my "must try". Thanks.

The cost is ridiculous. Pros mostly get clubs free. The majority of amateur recreational golfers can’t afford prices like this. So their market is rich golfers for whom price is no concern and a tiny minority of middle income players who pay more than they should to show off. Most of us are better off buying clubs, including wedges, that are one, two or even three previous models old and go for half or a third of their initial retail price. These days you’ve got to be a bargain hunter. Not for clubs that are cheap because they are of poor quality, but for the really high quality clubs at steep discounts.

Are these a new range? What are they replacing?

Why are so many decent golfers so negative regarding looks . They all genuinely struggle to hide their biases when reviewing new technology clubs with new aesthetics too . I want to see a pro playing their own clubs then the Launchpads for example.

Wow these were a big surprise. I like the Flat and use the large. Its like a reminder grip for use on the course. Cant wait till they come out with a full set of these. Ought to be interesting. You really should go to PGA Super and try them. There are three. I liked the Flat by far.
